PCS provides security training for operators of corporate airplanes that are required by the Transportation Security Administration to comply with one of the following programs:
The "Twelve - Five Standard Security Program" - for operators of charter aircraft under FAR Part 135, with a maximum takeoff weight of 12,500 lbs or more.
The "Private Charter Standard Security Program" - for operators of aircraft under FAR Part 125, with a maximum takeoff weight of 100,300 lbs or more.
The upcoming "Large Aircraft Standard Security Program" - This program is scheduled to be released in 2007 by the TSA. It will include all aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 65,000 lbs or more, regardless of the FAR part under which they are operated.
PCS offers professional staffing on a full- or part-time basis to assist with, or to fully manage, a complete security program for our clients. Staffing includes:
Basic Screeners - Basic screeners to assist with the screening of passengers and accessible baggage prior to flights.
Corporate Security Coordinator - PCS offers security professionals to travel with an operator and handle all aspects of the security program. This includes establishing and maintaining remote screening locations (where applicable), coordinating ground and in-flight security of the aircraft, and providing executive protection for VIP passengers during their travels.
TSA Compliance Coordinator - PCS also provides security experts on staff who can guide new operators through their first few compliance trips. This allows flight crews to integrate the program into normal operations under the watchful eye of a security expert. This expert is on site to answer unique questions for each operator, and ensure that the integration process runs smoothly, while maintaining full TSA compliance. Once the operator is comfortable with the new program, our coordinators remain available for periodic spot checks, or for telephone and email correspondence.
The PCS program Total Training and Integration also includes:
Background checks of all personnel, complete fingerprinting and criminal history record checks required by the TSA for all participating flight crews. Required security equipment - PCS will evaluate each operation and recommend the TSA-approved security equipment that will best suit each client's unique operation. PCS then purchases, and installs the equipment and trains all of client personnel in the proper operation of such. Certifications - PCS provides and manages TSA-approved training records, as well as written and practical exams for all personnel. Check rides - As part of a client's initial program, PCS provides a TSA compliance coordinator for every operator's first trip under the new program - to answer questions and guide the operator to full compliance while integrating security into their normal operations. TSA required documentation - PCS ensures that the TSA receives the proper documentation of training and issues the client their TSA certificate of operation.
